Odysai ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website odysai.com and related services (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.
By using Odysai, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

- Account information: Name, email address, profile photo (via Google or LinkedIn sign-in)
- Career information: Resume content, work history, education, certifications, skills, career goals, salary expectations, job preferences, and culture priorities
- Interview data: Transcripts of conversations with Aimee (our AI career coach), including voice-to-text transcriptions
- Contact information: Phone number (if you opt into SMS check-ins)
- Payment information: Billing details processed through Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers directly)
- Communications: Support requests, feedback, and messages you send us
Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
- Device and browser information
- IP address and approximate location
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Match you with relevant job opportunities based on your skills, experience, and preferences
- Generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and application materials
- Provide AI-powered career coaching through Aimee
- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback
- Build and maintain your career profile
- Send notifications about new matches, application updates, and platform features
- Send quarterly SMS check-ins (with your explicit consent)
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Improve and develop our Platform and AI models
- Respond to support requests
3. AI Processing
Odysai uses artificial intelligence to power core features including job matching, resume generation, career coaching, and interview preparation. Your career data (resume, work history, goals, interview transcripts) is processed by AI models to deliver personalized recommendations.
AI-generated content such as job match scores, tailored resumes, cover letters, career roadmaps, and interview feedback are produced by automated systems. While we strive for accuracy, these outputs are suggestions and should not be relied upon as professional career advice, legal advice, or guarantees of employment.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform:
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers Aimee conversations, job matching, resume generation, and career analysis
- Clerk: Authentication and user account management
- Supabase: Database hosting and storage
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Vercel: Website hosting and deployment
- Twilio: SMS messaging for quarterly check-ins
- Cartesia / OpenAI: Text-to-speech for Aimee voice responses
- Resend: Transactional email delivery
Each third-party service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. SMS Communications
If you opt into quarterly SMS check-ins, Aimee will text you periodically to ask about your career progress, wins, and challenges. This information is used to keep your profile current and improve your job matches.
- SMS check-ins require your explicit opt-in consent
- Message frequency: approximately once per quarter (4 times per year)
- Message and data rates may apply
- Text STOP at any time to opt out of SMS communications
- You can also disable SMS check-ins in your Settings page
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (available in Settings), we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).
Inactive accounts may be paused automatically after 90 days of inactivity if you have opted into our auto-pause feature.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication through Clerk, and access controls on our database. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
- Opt-out: Opt out of marketing communications and SMS check-ins

10. Children's Privacy
Odysai is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of Odysai after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
