1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Odysai, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Odysai is an AI-powered career platform that provides:

• Personalized job matching based on your skills, experience, and preferences
• AI career coaching through Aimee, our virtual career mentor
• Tailored resume and cover letter generation
• Mock interview practice with AI feedback
• Career roadmap planning and salary analysis
• Company research and networking tools
• Quarterly SMS career check-ins (opt-in)

The Platform is currently in beta. Features, functionality, and availability may change without notice.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Platform without authorization

5. AI-Generated Content

Odysai uses artificial intelligence to generate job match scores, tailored resumes, cover letters, career roadmaps, interview feedback, salary analysis, and career coaching responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided for informational and assistive purposes only.
• AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You should review all generated content before using it.
• Job match scores and recommendations do not guarantee employment or interview opportunities.
• Career coaching from Aimee is AI-generated guidance, not professional career counseling, legal advice, or employment placement services.
• Resume and cover letter content should be reviewed and verified for accuracy before submission to employers.
• We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from your reliance on AI-generated content.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: Basic features available at no cost with usage limits.
• Plus and Pro tiers: Paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
• Promo codes: May be offered for beta testing or promotions. Promo access is temporary and subject to the terms specified at redemption.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion.
• Price changes: We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will not be affected until renewal.
• Auto-pause: If enabled, inactive accounts may be moved to a hibernation plan after 90 days of inactivity.

7. Intellectual Property

• Our property: The Platform, including its design, code, features, AI models, branding, and content, is owned by Odysai and protected by intellectual property laws. Odysai is a trademark of John C. Hovsepian.
• Your data: You retain ownership of the personal data and content you provide to the Platform (resume, work history, career stories, etc.).
• License to us: By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Platform services.
• AI-generated output: Content generated by the Platform (tailored resumes, cover letters, match notes) is provided for your personal use. You may use this content freely in your job search and career activities.

8. SMS Communications

If you opt into quarterly SMS check-ins:

• You consent to receive text messages from Odysai at the phone number you provide.
• Message frequency: approximately 4-8 messages per quarter (one conversational check-in).
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.
• Text STOP to any message to opt out immediately.
• You can also manage SMS preferences in your Settings page.
• We will not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content or job matching results.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ODYSAI AND ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Platform or other users.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of Odysai after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
